TAM - who we are and what do we stand for...*
With a lot of new followers we thought we'd reintroduce ourselves.

We are 'TAM - trawden artists & makers', a small and determined group which promotes artists and art. We are based in the village of Trawden (hence the name) which hosts an annual two day art exhibition, open studios and art trail weekend.

We share information of upcoming events with artists who are actively involved with TAM, organise events, occasional outings and share ideas and friendship over cups of tea in the Old rock cafe or Trawden Community Centre, Library & Shop.

We have grown exponentially year on year and despite being limited by the number of venues we have available we host artists and makers. This year we have willow weaving, photographers, sculptures, stone mason, silk painters, speciality yarn makers as well as visual artists, fine art, bespoke framers, pop art, mixed media artists, steampunk and so so so much more!

This year, NEW for 19 - we have artisan foods, Rising Stars (the next generation artists), as well as a Textile Exhibition from Nelson and Colne College and a welcome return for our 'Art in Action' artists.

Our driving force is to find and support AMAZING and TALENTED artists and makers and to help provide a platform for them to be able to sell or exhibit their wonderful creativity.

Here is to another successful TAM
